The first venue for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has been completed, including the installation of cooling technology that was at the heart of the Arabian country's bid for the tournament.
First built in 1976, Doha's Khalifa International Stadium has been expanded to seat more than 40,000 fans and extensively renovated at a reported cost of £70million.
The Qatar 2022 organizing committee said the much-vaunted cooling technology will keep the pitch at a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius and the stands at 24-28 degrees year-round, while using 40 per cent less energy than other cooling methods.

Memorise: And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. – Psalm 106:15
Read: Genesis 16:1-5 (KJV)
1 Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

Walk in the Light You Have - Kenneth Copeland’s daily devotional

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. - 2 Timothy 3:14
If you’re born again and have the Word of God in your heart, you can live in victory. You may not have all the answers. There may be a great many spiritual things you don’t understand. But it’s not those things that are most likely to destroy you. It’s the things you know to do—but don’t—that usually make you fall.
Just think about walking at night down a dark, unfamiliar path in the middle of a jungle. The guide up ahead has a flashlight to keep you on the right path. But then, you just decide to wander off into the darkness by yourself. What do you think will happen to you? You’ll probably stumble and fall. Very likely, you’ll get hurt.

Soul Lifting Hymn: What a Friend We Have In Jesus - Lyrics in English, French, Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo Languages
This is a very inspirational hymn and it goes a long way in knowing the one and only true friend we have Jesus Christ.
Enjoy
English
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
The Christian hymn was originally written by Joseph M. Scriven as a poem in 1855 to comfort his mother who was living in Ireland while he was in Canada.
